I love restyling my shelves from time to time. It’s a quick fix to calm my decorating need without breaking the bank. I know you feel my pain with your #nospend resolution (that’s right, I see you!) In the past, it seemed that the look wasn’t as put together as I wanted. It was upsetting but I was too lazy to take it down. This time around, I put some thought and heart into it and for the first time, I think I nailed it. I’ve coupled 5 easy tips that are sure to give you the shelves of your dreams.
The plant is from Michael’s and the polka dot teacup is from Ross.
Plant and white frame are from Michael’s. Gold frame is from Amazon. Wooden arrow is from Axel Cousa. Printed box is from Home Goods.
By texture, I’m referring to layers of depth. Adding different textures and layers to your shelves will make the individual items stand out. If all the items on the shelf are made of the same material, it becomes difficult to identify and single out the different articles of style. A nicely styled shelf is never one dimensional.
Whale trinket holder is from Anthropologie. Cuteness overload!
No real coral was hurt in the styling of this shelf! Faux Coral is from Home Goods.
|Gold and white vase is from Ross. Seashells were found by Adam.
‘Hello Beautiful’ from Home Goods
Doggie from Michael’s store.
Love Letters from B and B.
