Last year, I was a bit bummed out with my style and I came to realize that a big part of the reason was that I almost never accessorize! Though I have a reasonably sized watch collection, (which I rotate frequently) nothing else changes. I wear the same studs every day and my wedding rings. If and when I do accessorize, it’s on the occasional weekend nights we get out. I decided that this year, I’m going to change all that so that my outfits look more put together and stand out with little details.
When Jordan from Dainty Demi Designs contacted me, not only was it love at first sight, but probably a sign from the universe that I REALLY need to put more thought into my daily costumes. I mentioned to Jordan how I don’t really love big jewelry and that less is more when it comes to my personal style. She immediately made a few suggestions and created 2 beautiful pieces that I’m in love with and excited to share with you.
The first piece has a pink tassel and a gold star fish! You guys must be tired of hearing it, but I LOVE the ocean and this piece feels so right! That little star fish is so adorable and the gold and pink combo blends in perfectly. Not to mention, that tassels are very stylish at the moment (take note, ladies). The funny thing about it is that both the starfish and tassel stand out on their own but look great together! Since I don’t love wearing a lot up top, the longer necklaces allow me the freedom I need while I adapt to accessorizing. This is a process, people.
Which brings me to the second piece, a shortie! A monogram “K” and an anchor. Being that the piece is not heavy at all, it allows me to keep it on for longer periods of time and more importantly, it’s so pretty! This piece easily goes from day to night while still feeling absolutely chic.
Jordan has an assortment of pendants to choose from and beautiful stones for a more earthy look! If you love chunky jewelry and conversation pieces, she’s your girl with everything from rings to bracelets! I love the detail and love she puts into her products. Whether it’s a gift for you or your favorite girl, I guarantee it’ll be a hit!
